"Gombe" Chimpanzee Art for Jane Goodall

Gombe is a piece of art inspired by Dr. Jane Goodall’s work for Chimpanzees. It is based on the idea of a double exposure photo, uniting the environment where Chimpanzees (should) roam around freely and happily within a more thoughtful and also vulnerable single Chimpanzee – drawing attention their precarious situation in the wild. The high level of detailing creates a symbiosis between the hair of the animal and the leaves of the forest.

Jane Goodall is a woman that has inspired and impressed me already as a child. Her curiousness, love for other creatures and tenacity to make a change is admirable and therefore it was only logical for me to try to help with my own means and dedicate this painting to her and her mission.

The piece is drawn with Faber Castell fineliners and printed on Premium Hahnemühle paper. Each artprint is signed and dated at the back. You can also buy this print via my Etsy storeThank you very much for buying this artprint and supporting the great work of the Jane Goodall Institute.
